Who we are

What we collect
When you contact us (form, email or WhatsApp): your name, shop name, contact details and what you tell us. We use it to reply and to make your preview or website.
Emails we send to shops: we sometimes email businesses about a free preview of their website. We only use business contact details the shop has published itself (for example on Google Maps or its own website). Reply “no thanks” and we will not email you again.
Free previews: preview pages use only your shop’s public details. They are hidden from search engines and are taken down when they expire, or sooner if you ask.
Layla, our AI assistant: chat messages are sent to an AI service to write Layla’s replies. We keep chat conversations for 30 days so we can see what people ask and improve Layla, then they are deleted automatically. Card numbers and passwords are blanked out before anything is saved. We count chats (for example how many happened each day) without storing who you are. If you tap “Send on WhatsApp” or “Email instead” on one of Layla’s request cards, we also save that request and the last part of the chat so the team can help you. These are deleted after 6 months. Please don’t share passwords or card numbers in the chat.
Who helps us run this
Google (email) and Cloudflare (hosting, the chat server and the AI model behind Layla). They process data only to provide their service to us. We never sell your details.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and client records: as long as we work together, then up to 2 years for our records. Layla requests: 6 months. Our “do not email” list: kept so we respect your choice.
Your choices
You can ask us to show, correct or delete what we hold about you. Email hello@pagesouk.com and we will reply within 30 days. In the UK you can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
